Oddball question of the day: Are there additives in Evian water? Here's why I'm asking....

I had one and returned it. The water was delicious at first but

the filter didn't last more than a week and it started getting an off taste. Read some reviews and others had complained about the same thing. Filters need to be chanmged often and are expensive. Went back to my Brita

 
yes they are expensive but we've had ours about a month

and it gets a lot of use and are still on the same filter. last test at .04 I guess YMMV depending upon your water source or maybe you got a bad filter.

We're on a well and I'm fine drinking from the tap but we got this because of my daughter's health issues. I used to live in the town in Maine (Hollis) where Poland Springs setup one of their plants. We were on a well there too and very close to the aquifer that PS tapped into. Best water...

 
I use steam distilled also-the tap water here smells and tastes vile.I agree-NYC water is the best.
