Ok, we've survived Thanksgiving (more or less).... what is everyone baking for Christmas?

There;s also no starch to absorb the cream. Julia doesn't mess around here--

just chocolate and butter and flavoring. Her later recipes have ground nuts or macaroons, but these are better!

 
I don't believe starch would be needed.... my thighs do quite a good job of absorbing the cream...
