Pat-NoCal, I made your Quick Sour French bread and it turned out great!

Actually, I made it yesterday and it was gone, I was feeding a crew. So I made another one today, but I didn't have any sour cream, so I subbed non-fat cottage cheese, and added an extra tablespoon of white vinegar. It turned out even better than the one yesterday. I don't know why, but it rose higher and the texture was great. I think I am getting the hang of what the dough should look/feel like. I let the breadmaker do the dough for me, then shaped it and baked it in the oven. Go figure, I just asked my husband how he liked the bread, and he said it was good, but not as good as yesterday's! LOL. Thanks for the recipes!http://eat.at/swap/forum1/8046_Three_french_breads_for_the_bread_machine_that_I_used_a_great_deal

Yay Dawn, I'm glad it was well received. It used to be one of my faves when I still had a

bread machine. I've been meaning to try it in my KitchenAid...I'm sure it would work well that way too. You should try the honey wheat one some time....yummmie.
