We are having a ball! I think Richard will post photos.
Just two days in and we have cooked 'til we've almost dropped! World Peace Cookies (See Marilyn? They were worth making weren't they?) just came out of the oven, we had scrambled eggs/veg/cheese with toasted Dakota Bread for breakfast. Tonight we'll make the Salmon in Puff Pastry- I already made the filling. I'll serve with roasted red potatoes and steamed green beans. Last evening we had pot roast with Richard's wonderful potato rolls and Tim created the most gorgeous and delicious 3-layer cake. You'll see it when the photos arrive. The first night I made Julia's French Onion Soup- gratineed of course- and a Salade Nicoise and we had Foie Gras on toasted bread for starters. Oh yes, and a creamy lemon pudding. Big fun!
I forgot to say Richard has Sauerbraten started; he simmered the marinade and poured over a 9+lb hunk of beef and it is in the fridge for the next few days. I can't wait to have THAT dinner! Several people will get a chance to enjoy the Sauerbraten as there will be a lot.
