PioneerWoman has been pushing BlendTec for a few weeks now. It gives me pause,

Did you get it from the VitaMix Lady? I'm thinking of getting one

but really have a hard time figuring out the differences between models (like turbo vs. 5200) except for the extras. Wanting to add daily green smoothie and some raw food options to my diet.

 
We have a VitaMix 5200 also...

Absolutely love it!

We make smoothies, green foods, soups, sauces, sorbet, shakes, you name it...

Even strawberry and raspberry smoothies come out, well, smooooth, no pips!

um, I don't know. I asked Marsha for her contact person, who put the order in

to "Brenda." Who Brenda is I don't know, but she was very friendly on the phone.

I've already run into a "user-based problem" that was happily resolved.

 
I just got mine last week for my birthday and so far I LOVE it

nothing is safe in my kitchen. I'm throwing everything in except the sink. I joined the VitamixEnthusiasts@yahoogroups.com group and am getting tons of good ideas.

 
I have a Blendtec and love it.

Bought it a couple years ago as a Christmas present to myself. My kids figured out you can put ice cubes in with no other liquid and it makes shaved ice for snow cones. Love the way in minces up anything frozen for a great smoothie.

Only complaint is it super loud. I need a plastic box like Starbucks has to muffle the racket.
