.... for some reason, when I read posts, their color does not change.

do I have to set something in my account to get it to change? I then went to the top and used the "mark read" hoping it would be the answer, and now every single message on the page is marked as read... smileys/frown.gif

 
Another question - my Private Messages show I have 12 but I can only find 6. What am I doing wrong?

 
Elenor, I believe that the total is a combination of the emails in "Inbox", "Sent", Saved" &"Trash"

 
I recently switched from using Firefox to Internet Explorer and find that sometimes

a post will not change from red to black when I read it (whereas with Firefox it always changed color for me). But since I use the "mark read" feature at the end of each visit here, it makes it super easy for me to see what's new on the board when I return.

 
I guess my Firefox might be the problem...

I do the same, use the "mark read" after reading for the day, then only the new posts show up in red

In fact, the gremlins are all out to get me, it seems...

I cannot access this site from the computer at home, it does not accept my login, no matter what I do.

Here it took me five attempts to finally get through. Maybe I need to re-register with another name? It is a bit frustrating....

 
Ack! Can you remind me again in about 3 weeks? Seriously way overloaded...

right now and this would probably take a few hours to figure out, plus ask for access to the server which I no longer have. Send me a PM so I don't forget!! (seriously)

 
Don't worry about it....

.... it's not a huge problem, I can certainly live with it!

I'll just do the "mark read" and not worry about it
