You could use printed cupcake holders with names on them w/coins kinda like this >>

You could glue/double stick tape cutouts with names attached much like the lettering on the image.

You can also do a search for gold coin template (lots) and that might make a nice printed topper that you could put names on with the cupcake idea you have.

Marilyn, how about Consequences for one of the games?

It could be both - 10 minutes to play, and 10 minutes reading out some of the funniest papers. You could say they must use characters from books for He and She.

Pictionary might be fun with Pirate themed books---treasure island, Swiss Family Robinson,

Master and Commander(Russel Crowe, be still my heart), etc etc
