"Queen of Sheba" cake...could anyone who has tasted this give me your

Is it possible to poke thin holes all over and sprinkle on a simple sugar syrup?

I sure hate to see that much good chocolate go to waste!

 
Or serve it with a sweet sauce. I always serve it with vanilla-rum custard sauce (creme anglais) but

raspberry or strawberry sauce would be good too.
