Quick Question: Does Lime & Strawberry Go Together?

I'm going to make a birthday cake for my appetizer party (see previous post) and I want to change a lime and blueberry cake (which is delicious!) to a lime and strawberry cake. But I've never had that combo. Has anyone had them together (not necessarily in a cake Thanks!

I think so. I’ve had strawberry limeade And it’s good. I think it would be kinda like a strawberry margarita taste.

I've had strawberry margaritas that were very good (with macerated fresh strawberries, not the bottled strawberry stuff).
But full disclosure: I get drunk very very quickly and that may be influencing my memory. Just saying.
