Reading threads...

...I find it annoying to click on to read a thread halfway up the page--after reading the posted comment when I want to go back to continue up(or down)page just where I left off, I find I am taken to the very top and must start all over or search to locate where I left off. How can I prevent this? I figure it must be my settings.

How about just opening in a new window? I can right click on a post

and it will open in a stand alone window that I can just read all the posts and then just close it down. Maybe this could be a solution?

I am not sure how to do that

I click on a post, read it then when I click back arrow to return to main thread menu I am at the top, no matter where I was on the page sorry to be so computer unsaavy!

Same problem here. I use IE & it started when I got a new computer with Vista. Once in awhile,

the site works correctly for a few clicks, then it goes back to the very annoying habit of going back to the top of the page.

I put up with that, knowing that it was Netscape. I have now stooped to Explorer & the problem

no longer exists. As does Netscape.

But, it may be a non - Explorer peculiarity, as I do not visit other sites in depth, so cannot relate beyond that.

But the messages don't get marked as read. Another anomaly is it doesn't happen if I open a

thread and click on the posts inside the thread. It only happens on the main page.

Me too. Seems to be a Firefox issue.

For a while my solution was to use IE for FinerKitchens and Firefox for everything else, but now I can't get IE to load properly. It's always something...

That *is* weird because it's never been a problem with IE...however...

if you have the most recent version of IE I have **no** problem believing that there's a bug in *that* too! Grrrrrr.
