Real food for real dogs: More Canine Recipes

thanks Orchid, she's home, mobile and now curled up in bed... as the puppy said "my heart is full

of happy"!

thanks Sandra, we had some scary time last night but she's much better this morning.

the biggest problem right now is getting food into her and getting her eating again. she is keeping her head up and purring.....

great idea Ang, thanks. I'm going to pick up some chicken liver at Richard's suggestion and

some yogurt too. they all like yogurt right from the container.

I'll bet I could do something with the chicken liver to make it "paw" spreadble. she also has a high calorie gel that helps but she does need real food.

I've really made a mess trying to get some canned food into her. more goes all over the place than in the tummy "-))

crisis is over, she's eating on her own and moving about..... whew! it's been a rough

ride and I'm grateful for all your support and emails. it's a true gift for a beloved animal to have so many sending good thoughts! smileys/smile.gif

HUGE HUGS to all of you....

Kai and Randi

thank goodness! wonder what caused this? sooo glad she's ok. just reading that you

spent the night wondering if you'd have to put her down brought a tear to my eye - i've such a soft spot for animals (and i'm not even a cat person!).
