Next time I would add more sugar, honey or chocolate chips.

Muesli Breakfast Cookies

Cookies for breakfast anyone??

Makes about 3 dozen cookies

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter (1 stick), room temperature

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 tablespoon water

1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 1/2 cups Muesli Cereal

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add the eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and water. Sift together flour, salt and soda and add to the butter mixture. Add the Muesli last (so you don’t completely pulverize the dried fruit) Drop by desired size on to prepared cookie sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Thanks for posting! This is just what I need...

to feed the three young hockey players that are going to be housed with us for the big hockey tournament this weekend. I am going to serve these with their egg mcmuffins one morning, and another morning I'm making the French toast casserole in the Faves.

I was considering making a coffee cake or doughnuts but this is so much simpler and they have a "coolness" factor kids would like. Breakfast cookies!
