RECIPE: Rec: Pink Peppercorn & Almond Biscotti with White Chocolate

RECIPE:
I'd sometimes travel to that area on shopping expeditions, but never came across Victor's--one of

our favorite restaurants was "Cliff and Annes" near the railroad tracks in Teaneck. Cliff was/is Jamaican and owns a B&B somewhere in Eden. There's that tiny greasy spoon down from Bischoff's where they make a great Roumanian steak.

In nearby Hackensack you may remember Packards and the White Manna.

 
Packards sounds familiar, but I don't remember anything about it. Is it a store or a restaurant?

Brooklyn it's that since I was the only one NOT born in Brooklyn I was teased so..... That's why I put it that way ~ just an old family joke.

My mother grew up on Flatbush Avenue & Avenue U
My father was off of Flatbush and equally spent his time in Babalon NY ~ Long Island.

 
Is It new? There use to be a Walgreens in that mini mall ~ I didn't know that ~ I use to live across

the street from the Walgreens for about 2 yrs in the Hayden Park Apartment until we bought our house up in North Phoenix in 2002. My son moved to Chandler and I'll be going to see him this weekend ~ will make a detour for certain ~ Thank you misplaced

 
It was the megastore of its age. Situated on River St and directly over the bridge-with a big...

parking lot.

The White Manna hamburger stand has been there forever--just saw it on diners, driveins and dives.

 
Alexander's is an IKEA now. smileys/frown.gif There was a rumor that someone had bought that painting

but we haven't seen it re-displayed anywhere.
