From his new book - I'm Dreaming of a Chocolate Christmas (which is fabulous) - these cookies are really delicious and super easy.

8 ounces (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

1 Tablespoon granulated sugar

Pinch of salt

2 large eggs

6 Ounces white chocolate, chopped and melted

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

24 Hershey's Kisses

1 Tablespoon confectioners' sugar

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

2. Place butter, sugar and salt in electric mixer. Mix on low 1 minute, then on medium for 2.

Scrape down and beat on med-high for 2minutes more.

3. Add 1 egg, beat 30 seconds. Add second egg and beat for 30 more seconds, then on med-high for 1 min. (will look like scrambled eggs)

4. Add white chocolate and vanilla, beat 30 seconds. Add flour on 30 for 30 seconds.

5. Using 1 Tablespoon or small ice-cream scoop, place 1 1/2 inches apart. Place a Hershey's Kiss in center of each. Bake for 14 minutes.

Remove from oven and cool. Dust with confectioner's sugar.

One note - I used the new candy cane kisses which were terrific and also the chocolate/caramel kisses. The chocolate ones had the caramel ooze out - next time I think I'll bake and add the kisses once they come out of the oven like for peanut butter blossom type cookies.

These were really easy and super tasty!

I just baked these! They're super easy. I used Ghirardelli and the dough is delicious. Just imagi

Just imagine if I'd used Lindt Swiss White.

I used Hot cocoa creme and special dark chocolate Hershey kisses. The dark chocolate kisses kinda held it's shape. The cocoa flavored completely melted flat.

Mine baked in 12 minutes. Thanks for sharing this fabulous cookie recipe CactusSue!

Yes. Hershey's kisses makes a milk chocolate kiss filled with Hot cocoa creme. They spread out,

They weren't as eye appealing as the dark chocolate kisses, which had the kiss shape after coming out of the oven.

I really have to try this recipe again using Lindt Swiss White chocolate. I know it will get raves.

I dropped them off at the front desk. Hopefully I'll get some feedback tomorrow.
