Michael, I have it and absolutely Love it .... one of the great tools for the kitchen!

 
I love mine too. Works really well, not just at scraping the sides but seems to do a better job of

mixing, too. I'm surprised it wasn't invented years ago.

The first time I used it, tiny lint-like bits of plastic were flying everywhere, probably as the top of the attachment got "broken in" by the beater hook-up. It hasn't been a problem since.

I love mine too and I find that I don't end up with that little pile of unmixed batter particles

at the very bottom of the bowl.

 
I have my mom's it's (ahem) 43 years old, she bought it

to make my 1 year birthday cake and it was made the year before I was born! But let me tell you it works like a charm. The original glass mixing bowl is gorgeous and I'm really careful with it because I'm not sure I could find a replacement. But I love my KitchenAid. Just bought the grinder attachment and that is so wonderful although I miss the wooden pusher, the new ones have a plastic jobbie.
