Ricotta Pound Cake Photo

I spent most of the weekend editing photos (ACK!) and came across a shot of Ricotta Pound Cake. See, mine developed a ridge across the back but no issues with sinking.




 
Looks very moist and good golden brown~ Have you made this Trace? I'd like to give it a try, never

had ricotta pound cake.

I have an old southern pound cake recipe I've made for years and I love it and it freezes wonderfully.

I have been seeing all the ricotta cheese pound cake recipes and I have to say I am not wanting to veer from my recipe but I sure do want to try it.

I'll tell you what, Traca, if you say it's good I'll make it this up and coming weekend, I just need that push.

 
Yes, at this point, I've made it 5 times. It's fantastic...in my opinion. smileys/smile.gif

 
I've had a slab in the frig for 2 weeks now. Still perfect.

I prefer to pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds to take the chill off it. You can taste the citrus flavoring better that way than cold.

I also have 4 cupcakes in the freezer, testing that method out.

 
how about everyone is raving about it? does that help? smileys/smile.gif I'm going to make the end of the week.
