Rooster Crackers are wicked and evil

Really? I was so excited to try this. I just bought saltines today. Now I don't know what to think.

electronics and appliances in the modern world

are engineered to fail and to need constant service. The days of buying a major appliance and keeping it for a lifetime like our grandparents and parents are long gone.

We remodled the kitchen 10 years ago and bought the KitchenAid convection double wall oven. It broke after the warranty, the electronic sensorpad went up with a zap and cloud of black smoke.

It did it again. And we paid to repair it again.

The third time I ripped the beast out and replaced it.

All i wanted was a manual dial turn on and off with no bells and whistles. One cannot buy them anymore because everything is electric touch pads.

The new GE double wall oven is not convection (one less thing to break and I never liked it in the first place), but the top oven has an electronic touch pad, which has been replaced once and is falling apart again (GE claims no one else has ever had problems with it! GEEEE GE can you imagine!?!?). Note: I cause this corporate fraud and lying.)

However, we did find a model that has an old-fashioned dial on and off manual control like the old days for the bottom oven. I'm thinking when I finally get disgusted replacing the electronic touch pads, that I'll just use the top oven for storage and use the bottom oven that will not break because it doesn't have the electronic circuits to zap.

I had a Kenmore double oven with the touchpad on top and manual button on the bottom.

My touchpad went out also and was told by the repairman that it happens all the time to the touchpads. As I recall it has something to do with the heat and sensitivity of the touchpad. I sure did love my double oven while I had it.
