publish it later in some other form. Or you lost your database and would have to hire someone to type it all back in!

 
Yes, I'm pretty sure the mag was called Eating Well. Perhaps the content was removed because

the magazine was sold. But it was definitely removed. I don't know when the new version came out.

those days are going away fast.

I dropped my gourmet subscription about 10 years ago. It had morphed into something that I didn't like, as chronicled in the responses above.

I too remember the "old" days. Lillian Langseth Christianson was my favorite. I remember this beautifully done article on Bayreuth Germany from the late 70's that was so "Gourmet". Couldn't find anything like that in there now.

i agree with you - it was a great magazine, although i think the quality went down after the first 2 or 3 years.
