Saturday Six (incl. a ham-hock question)

Continue to feel better, Heather. The Thai red curry with chicken, butternut squash, zucchini, and

eggplant dish sounds great! You knitted "several sweaters" in one day?! I'm guessing they were for 4-legged creatures? lol Great!

Wow, beautiful Barbara! Will be able to find the recipes of

all these recipes right here on this sight? I guess I'll be able to do a google search for them? Really nice start of cookies that's for sure. Good job.

You feel so yucky and yet you still made me laugh. THose are very cooperative cats. I sure

hope you find out what's getting to you.

I went on a food rotation diet 30 years ago and the effect was so profound that the concept still influences how I eat. Good luck

Oh Heather, feel better! ...my weekend one

at least it sounds like you have bursts of feeling better moments(and good food!)...a little at a time my friend, a little bit better each day.

A little tomato soup for you (sorry, it won't let me embed the slideshow)

cheezz and Maria, I have never frozen my holiday cookies. I just find the coldest

place in the house. Right now it is the unheated laundry room. I pack each kind separately in a ziplock/tupperware like container and they stay fresh just fine! If I had more fridge space I would put them in there. When I was still living with the parents (a million years ago) I would put them in the attic where it was nice and cold.

I would put them in the garage now but I can't keep the mice out of the garage and I know they would get into the cookies!!
