The ice cream was a bit hit -- folks and kids alike going back for 3rds.

Tastes like, duh, a malt. Not sure if I'd add quite as many malt balls as the recipe calls for, but then again I've been off sugar for a while so everything tasted real sweet to me. So I'll just go off the fighting over eating it and yummy noises everyone made.

can you 'pour' out the liquid? mix with a little cornstarch, bring to simmer until thickened

then pour over pie filling?
