Wishing everyone the best of the holidays - we finally have our white Christmas!

Getting ingredients together to make Ebelskivers on Christmas morning (trying the muffin pan way), going to try with powdered sugar and microwave lemon curd courtesy of Sylvia

Buying a stocking stuffer Y-swimming cap for the fit relative who is training for a triathalon in the spring (is she really related to the rest of the family?!)

Making "just one more batch" of cut-out cookies from Welsh cookie dough, and frosting them with peppermint-cream cheese frosting. Maybe more lime melt-aways too (?). No, no, I have to stop! ;o)

Picking up a bottle of Pinot Noir to go with the roast beef for Christmas dinner; some black pepper crackers to go with my lemon feta; and a bunch of other boring grocery items not to mention Chewees for the dog and Fancy Feast for the cats

Stopping by Dinosaur Barbeque to get a couple of last-minute gift certificates; then running into Wegmans to buy an Ultimate White Cake - I've always wanted to try that! Sounds like the perfect dessert for Christams dinner

Then I'm putting my feet up in front of the fire and watching a dvd of White Christams while sipping the cranberry liquor that I bought in the fall but didn't find until this morning when I started going through my "Christmas bag" stashed in the closet

I think I really need to look for that Ebelskiver pan. with lemon curd----excellent idea!

I watched Willie Wonka last night as I made some last minute kitchen gifts. Willie Wonka(with Gene Wilder) and a glass of wine and a warm kitchen. fine evening.

Used my sparkling "new" Kitchenaid for the first time. It's been hiding up in a cabinet for about six, yes six, years. I'm a hand mixer kind of a gal, but I believe I am converted.

I'm setting up my Alaska Railroad train set for our neighbor's little 3 yr old boy. He will be so surprised.

More baking tonight---maybe. or just lemon curd.

I hope my Julie and Julia DVD arrives from Amazon. hohoho to me. and to all of you.

Oh, and I daydream about that Ebelskiver pan! I have no clue why

I just know I must have this. My mind tends to go more savory and I'm now thinking, why not fine diced ham, cheese and jalapenos with a sour cream salsa topping or.....oh my. Why do I want this thing so much? I really just do not need it!!!

It almost did. Great price but when I read the reviews it seems like

it is not really the same. Much smaller evidently. If I don't get over this obsession I'll go for the other one I guess. Thanks though.
