Since Holiday menus or mostly for the younger set these days, I get to show off my edible flowers

Are those lavender and nasturtium? Lovely complimentary colors. The paprika would have

bridged the color scheme as well.

I can’t bring myself to cut back the sage when it blooms as it’s so pretty.

Also have lavender as well though.

 
Maria, if you enjoy working with edible flowers, I have served chicken salad inside day lilies for a

beautiful presentation. First pluck out the stamen from the center of the day lily and then put a scoop of chicken salad down inside the lily. You will receive ooh's and aah's galore from this plated serving. Day lilies are also edible.

I thought you had used blooming sage in your picture when I saw the plant leaves in your photo. Absolutely beautiful! And about any bloom from an herb is edible. (I am not saying all because there is probably an exception out there somewhere!)
