Since yesterday, this site has been loading much slower for me. Has anyone else had problems?

Yeah, and a complete waste of time if it's only your cache!

I never clear my cache though, so I dunno.

Good morning Meryl, I think you and I are through the same router; it was always fast until this wk.

My husband is still trying to restore my computer; I don't have cache to clear.

Full restoration isn't looking good.

I think it's the browser

The back button works fine on Microsoft but not with Netscape. Netscape returns me to the top rather than to where I left off. It's a nuisance but still love this site. Thanks, Mimi

Thanks everyone, I now have 2 solutions to my problem...

KC, your 'right mouse' click trick worked!

Mimi, I'm on Mozilla but can simulate IE.

Thanks everyone for your help!

Meryl, don't you have a cable modem? If so, shut down your computer, unplug the modem for

about a minute and then plug it in again and restart your machine. Some modems don't require you to shut down your computer when doing this- depends on what kind you have but you must have some sort of box your cable hooks into.

Mac can do it too!

Mimi, don't be so quick to disparage the Mac. Actually on Mac it is more elegant since you use a real word rather than Microsoft garbledy goop...

On Mac, open your terminal window and type:
traceroute finerkitchens.com

For me connecting to the Internet via Verizon wireless doing a traceroute there was actually two Verizon router problems between me in Nor Cal and the servers in Phoenix (by way of Dallas ). Once the hops got past Verizon everything spead up.

Terminal Window on Mac is under Applications>Utiliites or just type terminal in Spotlight. I keep a link to mine in my doc so it is one click.
