Sitting here with sign around my neck "Will Larder Barder for Tomatoes"

Now don't jinx me - I have this magical spot in my backyard where the tomatoes

LOVE to grow. Each year I keep thinking I need to leave it fallow and prep another area for them. Needless to say, it hasn't happened yet.

Actually, the tomato and herb garden planting have been my Mother's Day gift the past 3 years:

Amazingly sandy soil. Do you use compost Lisa?

Yes, it is basically a sand hill. I will ask DH what amendments he used.

He says Miracle Grow soil. So much for organic, eh?
