Some food pix: Red Quinoa Garden Salad

I've been wanting to try quinoa-but what really turns me off is the appearance, though the red looks

more appealing than the off white/beige. Not sure if I'd like the texture, but I'm just going by the photos I've seen online.

Curious, I'd encourage you to give quinoa another go. I really enjoy it and it's got a ton

of protein. When I was personal chefing for clients that needed a ton of protein, this was one way I bumped up their daily intake. I used pasta or rice salad recipes a base, and swapped out the pasta or rice for quinoa. Much more nutritious.
