I've made this several times over the years. It's delicious. DH is not a cumin guy at all, so I sub in Penzey's Northwoods spice.
Good pantry pull soup. If you don't have ground turkey, any leftover cooked poultry works too.

Something in my life has changed where I find myself thrilled at the idea of a new bean soup. Where is the chocoholic??? Where is that woman who hates beans? No only beans, but beans with greens! What have I done with her??
