Speaking of eggs.... : ) I made sunnyside up eggs this am for dh. One of my eggs had 2 yolks.

I can't remember what channel but I saw a documentary on how eggs are stored commercially. I'm going to look that up.

 
Googling the subject told me that there are two reasons for blood spots in eggs, a) a fertilized egg

or b)a rupture of blood vessels during formation of the egg. You're right, Glennis, since egg factories don't have roosters, our commercial eggs with a blood spot cannot be fertilized eggs, but they are graded out of the A or AA categories for sale. I guess one slips by now and then.
