Started a "Fitness Challenge" this week with coworkers - I know why I cannot 'diet'

whole grains and water - LOTS of water - are key... it's not an uphill battle... it's perpendicular!

 
ok, so we're donut challenged up here and already looking forward to KrispyKremes in Maui in Feb.

My friends will be there for a whole week before me, and they already have it planned to pick me up at the airport AFTER their donut run, cuz, I guess the KrispyKreme is right there by the airport. It makes leaving the beach and coming to the airport worthwhile---I hope they remember to pick me up.

 
now see, I've never understood the appeal of Krispy Kremes... as my dad used to say -

"It's like running in the wind with your mouth open". They are all air, with a huge hole in the middle. You'd have to eat half a dozen to get a real donut taste... IMHO

 
yeah, fluffy glazed donuts are my least favorite treat, easy to pass up, but honestly don't know why

KK donuts pulls at us, but it does. Maybe cuz we have just marginal grocery bakery donuts and a few locals, but nothing superb.

 
Odd, fluffy glazed donuts are my reason for living. We'll order separately.. And I apologize

to Missy for talking so much about donuts in her fitness thread.

 
maybe this tangent is good for our diets---we're talking about donuts and not eating them(maybe)
