Stupidest thing I ever saw. I was in Williams-Sonoma on the weekend and

I don't use many of this stuff but I do buy loose stalks of celary and onions and potatoes

one or two at a time to avoid that mandatory rotten one in the less expensive bag. However, I draw the line at chopped garlic. Since I can smell it through the sealed jar at the store, where would I keep it where it would not contaminate everything around it?

HA!! I saw the link and immediately thought you were giving us the recipe...heehee smileys/smile.gif

It's for the mothers who don't get out of bed in the morning - the kids grab their own lunch

It saddens me to see kids go off to college not even knowing basic cooking skills...

or, often, not even knowing how to do their own laundry and handle money. All the good, basic, skills we used to learn in school (cooking, homemaking, sewing...) have all gone out the window.
Sad.

I had basic skills--one dented pot to warm the beans, one butterkinife to spread the..

peanut butter on the soft white bread, and one clean glass for the Rebel Yell and coke. Yummy.

Good for you, Curious. I bet she sometimes toasts you, now that laundry detergent comes with cups.

My daughters thought it was supreme cruelty when forced to learn how to change a tire...

one of them has had to do it and now thanks us profusely for the lesson... sometimes we get a pat on the back, sometimes not smileys/smile.gif
