No, not frying pot... hahahaha
ANYWAY
I just use a metal skimmer or slotted spoon to get the items in and out - as for cleaning, yep wipe it out and dishwasher, one piece, no fiddling -
I am so over extra appliances that dothe job of something else - I hope someone shoots me if I ever buy another slow cooker, crock pot or panini press!
