"The Taste of Things"...what a wonderful movie!

Warning; my own opinion is mirrored in this NPR article when they say don't see it if you're hungry...or else have an excellent source of French cuisine and wines for afterward.

From the director: "In life we have two sources of sensuality. It's love and food," says Tran. This movie shows both.

PS: And no, I did not get french food afterward. I was in Asheville and wanted to try White Duck Tacos. They come individually for $4.85/ea and win hometown awards all the time. I tried the following:
  • Korean Bulgogi taco with Kimchi
  • Crispy Chicken General Tso's Taco
  • Peanut Thai Chicken Taco
PPS: Yes, they were good. Yes, I'm still craving something French.

Ah, I have been awaiting this movie. Thanks for mentioning it.

My fridge full of butter will willingly attest to my love of 'French' food.
