There are so many people who are MIA. Here's a partial list - I know I left out many. Come out,

Good to see you Marianne, I've wondered about you and you immediately came to mind when Meryl posted

Yep! Here I am!!!!! (waving)...

Life has never been the same since I went back to school to get my teaching degree. Even though I've now graduated, we've started building a house and are trying hard to hold onto our sanity (and not kill each other) during the process.

Hopefully 2008 will prove to be the year that life returns to normal and I'll have a new beautiful house to live in with a GORGEOUS kitchen to stretch out in and experiment. In the meantime, I've started lurking here again and am trying to spend more time cooking. It feels good to be back!

Thanks Joe -- I don't believe that vacation was FK sanctioned! Better have some good foodie stories.

I'm here Pat!!! Thanks for asking, been busy planning

a road trip. Well that's not exactly true. We leave next week, but I'm not sure where we are going! Last I heard it was the Oregon coast.
I did post at 8429, you must have missed it.
I'll check in when we get back.
And you're right I haven't seen much of Sparky lately!

Oh how fun, just love road trips. If Randi hasn't plucked 'em all maybe you can luck out with some

fresh Oregon porcini mushrooms.)

Here I am! I've just started checking in more frequently lately - haven't been doing much cooking...

in a while - my cookbooks are all packed and stored away, so I haven't had much to contribute. I have really missed you all and it's so nice to be able to come back "home" again and find you all still here; sharing and cooking away happily. Thanks for thinking of me - gave me a little warm & fuzzy buzz ;o)

Thanks for thinking of me, Meryl. Since joining Weight Watchers in March...

I don't come as often--it's too hard to look at all these yummy recipes that I just can't eat!

I'd been coming here (and at Gail's) daily (make that hourly!) since the late 90's--cooking more that contributing, but hopefully one day I'll have lots less poundage and lots more will power and creativity to tweak recipes to make something I can eat from all of these gastronomic delights!

I just read of Moyn's passing - how very sad to know she's gone, and saw Marilyn's amazing gingerbread house!

The Weight Watchers forums are helpful, but just not "here!"

Debbie
