Yes, I have access to the Yahoo site but didn't think to look as I've been

I think the PayPal donation is a great idea. Let us know when

it is up and running. Our group here donated money to a friend of mine when she lost her house a few years ago in a wildfire. It meant a lot to me and to her. If Pat lost her house, there are so many things she will need again. I am sure we can help her out with that too.

I can do this, but I'm wondering if it wouldn't be faster for us to just send

donations directly to Pat. If one of us knows her email and snail-mail address, it might be better to ask that person to coordinate things. What do you all think? (I'm not trying to rescind my offer to help, and I desperately want to help Pat, but I'm just not sure that PayPal is the fastest way to do it.)

I agree with you, Erin. I've just sent Pat a message through yahoo.com, asking for her email

address, and asking if it is OK for me to post it here on our Swap, so that we can keep in touch with her. I'll let you know as soon as I learn anything.

I guess Pat is referring to the pitiful scene I just watched on CNN...people searching the posted

lists of the destroyed homes, looking for their addresses. This really hurts!
