This is why I love summer!

You're welcome! Dana's really amazing...she has a thoughtful, analytical approach to

everything. And she really enjoys getting behind the science of why foods react the way they do...from the molecular level and beyond. We're actually good friends and sometimes I just laugh...if a little bird could hear some of our conversations...we totally geek out on the food thing!

If you want to read about her time at the Fat Duck and beyond, here's her first blog.

Indeed! Marc's finishing up culinary school in a couple weeks and then his

travel schedule kicks in, which is crazy. He's like, "I'll be gone the month of April..." or "I'm in Costa Rica now, heading off to Argentina later this week."

That guy's been to more countries in the year that I've known him...I'm so amazed how he keeps it all together. And if I'm lucky, sometimes we actually get to hang out! smileys/smile.gif

Another thank you, she's very interesting, but then so are you! I'm impressed with the dedication

and accomplishments of both of you. Nice to find what really makes you happy while you're young and free to pursue it. I do hope you can find the time to let us know how it goes.

Absolutely! I've got some catch up to do...

but my blog is a great place to keep up with what's happening. I really like that format...include photos with some commentary and that kind of thing. (I hate the thought of doing anything remotely considered self-promotion, so hopefully it doesn't come across that way. For me, the blog is kind of like a scrapbook of noteable moments)

Anyway, I'll definitely be writing about my experience with William. smileys/smile.gif
