Dianne, Emmitt was lucky to have picked you for a mommy. So sorry for your loss.
Oh Dianne, I can't imagine that, this close to the holidays. As long as we are talking pets, could
anyone know of anything that can improve a cat's immune system?
My kitty (age smileys/bigeyes.gif broke his leg in September, had it set with a plate, and then came down with a bone infection last month, had the plate taken out, started healing just fine, until... he started limping again this week - we took him to the vet's again and he told us that he re-broke the leg because of the infection. It's not treatable with antibiotics, for some reason, and we are just hoping for a minor miracle that his own immune system can repair it. He's having surgery again tomorrow, to set the bone with an outside fixator.
He is otherwise excellent health. Thanks, and I'll keep you posted.

an exterior fixator, what is that chant that Marilyn does, cheese something something. I have mine in the junk drawer and come across it every once in awhile...accckkk.
Your poor little kitty. I hope he will heel quickly and well. Randi might be a good source for this question, as she is very involved with animals and especially cats. You should shoot her off an email. If you need her email address, just email me and I will give it to you, I know she wouldn't mind. In spite of all of this, I hope you are having a happy holiday!
