Well, not really a recipe, just combine 1 cup of frozen strawberries, thawed, with 1 large tub of Lite Cool Whip (actually I think Walmart's brand is even better).
Slice any cake in half (yellow is good) and spread some of this mixture, then top with other half of cake. Frost top and sides of cake with more of the mixture. Nice and light, and very good. They called it "Strawberry Shortcake" where I first saw this, but I can't really see that. We're having it for Easter dessert.
