I'm sorry, Orchid. Sometimes animals have such an affect on us that

we consider them one of the family. And losing family hurts. You made her life a nice one, I am sure.

how much it hurts to loose such a beautiful bird. John and I understand that we have been blessed to have had couple of years with her and that it was a once in a life time experience. Our lake neighbors have all said that she "socialized" with them and but she lived here. Everyone is so sad. John buried her near the lakes edge. You can never know how much all the hugs helped. Thank you.

I'm glad she got to spend her last year with someone who loved her as much as you did.

 
We are never ready for a friend to pass.

Especially if they haven't been sick or wounded.
