Totally NFR but I need some help, please.

Brilliant. You could even place a special book on one table and have a prize

for the one who finds it first...or a prize for the table with the earliest published book (makes things interactive.)

Even when I'm at someone's house, one of my favorite things is to go through thier book collections. I make mental notes about which ones I've read or which ones I want to read next. It also sparks a ton of dialog. "I loved this book..." kind of thing.

you guys just need to get tougher---our big neighborhood sale is this weekend---and it snowed last

night----didn't stick, but still :eek:}
Re-sale or thrift shops usually have a big selection of nice vases for almost nothing. It could be an eclectic assortment of vases with lovely spring flowers and ribbons etc. Or even canning jars filled with posies---I always like that look.

A neighbor brought me a bouquet from her garden last week, in a canning jar, and it

looked so cool. Made me wonder why I keep so many vases when the jar was just so perfect.

That sure was my whine, although to 80 this weekend here. But lemons, they're 2 for a $. Pretty

centrepiece, but at least it would be edible after.

I bought a painting of a spray of flowers sitting in a Carnation can---this spoke to me so much

we used to put flowers in cans or whatever when I lived out in "bush" Alaska. My DH thought I was nuts for buying that painting, but it became a favorite and most commented on in our house.
