Totally non-food related chat (TNFRC): We no longer have teenagers. The youngest turns 20 today.

He is fit and trim, with an athletic build. He LOVES to dress himself well.

His cousins who are around his age tease him. Fashion-wise, he can get away with practically ANYTHING.

That was his prom picture from last year.

What a doll baby as a child. I could just eat mine up at that age! Now, handsome man!

By the way, I love a man with fashion sense.

I'm a very blessed man, charlie. I married waaaay outta my league, and my sons...

...are a joy.

Don't get me started! Thanks for the compliment.

Thank you all. Thank you for putting up with my sentimental musings, and for being...

...a true extension of my family.

Without Gail's Swap and Eat.at, my family life would've been much different. With the good kitchen counsel all of you have generously provided over the years, I was able to grow as a home cook and feed these two boys some amazing meals, and some good, healthy food on a daily basis.

Food and cooking are a huge part of our "family identity", and you fine folks play a larger part in that than you may realize.

Thanks again for 21 years of food, fun, flame wars and friendship!

Michael

I lurked at Gail's Swap in the summer of 1995. First posted there in March of 1996.

I responded to one of Rvb's posts, if I remember correctly.

21 years, by my count!

My eldest son will be 22 on July 4th, so you can see how perfect the timing was when I found Gail's Swap.
