Tried some new (for me) Mexican-inspired recipes this weekend. I don't know if I would combine them

I love the flavor of poblano, too. Where do you get avocado leaves?

Is this a necessary addition?

From my tree. This is the first time I toasted a leaf and ground it. It had a nice flavor but

it was such a small amount, I don't think it had much impact overall. It's not essential to the dish.

Yes please. Pssst...I was born and raised in Arizona and I really

miss good Tex/Mex so if I would love to have those in particular.

Thanks Cathy. And it made a lot of sauce. I bought a pack of 5 drumsticks to add to the leftover

sauce, and after eating them for 2 nights there is still a little left. I could have cooked 2 chickens in the first place.

No, I haven't but I just took a look and it will be fun looking around

it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Traca, I really spent some time this afternoon looking at her site

and it is perfect for what I want. She has a brilliant recipe index that I wish everyone would do. So easy to browse. I think I'll see if I can get her cookbook at the library and give it a once over. Thanks again for the heads up.
