Unofficial poll: How many sugars do you add to your cup of coffee/tea? dh and I have different

It's not a daily cup for me... 2, maybe 3 a week (coffee, even rarer for tea), but

when I have tea, always use 1 t of sugar; none for coffee - the first time I tried it (in my 20's) I put way too much sugar in it, the thought of putting sugar with coffee is like putting honey on hamburg now ;o) - just doesn't go!

No sweet in either but I love the occasional "sweet tea" - all sugar!

Lately when I'm over-stressed and tired, I've been heading to McDonald's for their sweet tea. It's not as good as the sweet tea at Sonny's - which I would be drinking all-the-time if we were living 300 or more miles to the south!

Dh occasionally has 1 tsp of sugar in his coffee but he generally has it black. He drinks his tea black but also looks forward to Sonny's sweet tea when we make it south! Colleen

@ tsp worth of fake unhealthy, kill-you-one-day sweetener in coffee, none in teal

....that would be "2" not "@" !!
....and "tea" not "teal" !!!
What can I say, I've only had one of my normal two cups of coffee so far this AM.

Also, I finally gave up all artifical sweeteners including Splenda...and my short term memory

is definitely improving.

Going to work on reducing carbs next. See if that helps as well.

Good for you, Marilyn....more

splenda is not so splendid

a few years ago on Pat Robertson's program they told how some airline pilots were losing eye sight, equilibrium, all kinds of problems from artificial sweeteners.
