Vote tally EDT 6:02 March 22. Long Beach Organic (Our Garden) 1,304

the link was good but

you included "Link: " before it. the link should start with:

http://

anything before that would be unnecessary and render the link improperly.

Cut & paste will come back to get ya if you don't actually LOOK at

what you have pasted! Haste makes waste? Sorry, thanks for removing it. By the way, have I missed the instructions you were going to post for testers?

Michael,, I think it must have to do with varying state laws about sweepstakes.

It is in such fine print that it appears they are covering themselves legally but leaving it to the honor system. I didn't notice until Maria asked.

Your votes certainly mean a lot to us, and couldn't possibly get the garden disqualified. I didn't mean to imply otherwise. I LOVE ARIZONA!

Ok, I tell you what I'll do. I'm going to contact them, using a different email address...

...and find out what the story is.

Hopefully, I can still vote.

I love what you are doing.

Michael

Me, too, since I'm assuming the number went up after you voted. It also says "limit

1 vote per person and/or email". Wouldn't that indicate it's okay to vote with multiple emails? I finally figured out a way to vote with multiples, so hope it's legit. It was driving me crazy that the vote button went away each time I voted.

This is some kind of CYA thing and I would just not worry about it. Who

knows why that would be included in there, some kind of legalese stuff, who knows. But, how could they possibly tell if someone was living in what ever country or state if it is an AOL account or GMail or what ever. I think it is nothing! Please everyone, keep voting.

no I haven't finished yet. as these things are prone

always takes a little longer than anticipated.

Got the word from the marketing department at DeLoach Vinyards about AZ being excluded...

...and Joe and orchid are correct. It is a legality thing with the laws in Arizona about sweepstakes.

I'm so glad it wasn't anything political.

They were very nice to me on the phone, and they actually were surprised when their legal beagles put that exclusion in.

Michael

I brought that up with her. She said she agreed that it didn't make any sense...

...and said the lawyers (dreaded "risk management team") wrote the rules and said it had to be in there.

Shakespeare was right when it came to lawyers.

Michael

I wasn't too worried, though. I figured if they wanted to make a political statement

they'd have done it in larger type.
