Was Halloween slower this year in your neighborhood? We had about 1/3 -1/2 the usual amount of kids

I couldn't believe how slow it was. I only purchased $12 of pb cups and an assortment bag..

We doled out 3 pcs each because it was so slow. We should've gave handfuls!

We had 70 children. One little 3 year old declined candy though ...

we had three types of (large!) chocolate bars and she didn't like any of them. That cracked us up!. Happy Halloween!

I felt so guilty this year as we had to go to a wedding party. The only Hallowe'en we've missed

in 32 years. I tried to get the neighbours to give out what I'd bought but they had departed.

I think kids should be able to hang on to some old traditions. There are so few left.

Just one little trick or treater.

I so look forward to seeing the kids, but this year we had only one child show up. Not even the immediate neighbors kids/grandkids.

We had none - I suspect a lot of parties the reason. We went out with some

friends and their kids, and there were hardly any kids out in the neighborhoods.

Our local village/downtown merchants hosted a trick-or-treat event, and it was well attended.

We live pretty far out in the country, so no trick or treaters. But our little town

closed up Main Street and had a huge party for the kids. Austin, 6th Street was a drunken brawl, but lil'ole Bastrop was rocking for the kidlings. It was great!
