Was Halloween slower this year in your neighborhood? We had about 1/3 -1/2 the usual amount of kids

hey.... where there is chocolate and peanut butter involved, I can move faster than superman!

 
We had 11 kids. And now a LOT of leftover candy.

I didn't live in this neighborhood last year, so I've nothing to compare it with, but my in-laws, one street over, had over 30 kids. Perhaps they didn't want to climb our hill...or perhaps the previous owners were stingy.

I thought we'd have tons of kids because it was so mild out, too.

 
it was heartwarming though to hear all the "thank-you's" and T-O-T, and "Happy Halloween". so many

polite and appreciative kids this year---even the teenage boys and girls. we had 80 to 100, judging from the empty candy bags.
