Oh ya, that dispenser would work well. HAH

I had to make up the berbere separately as I don't have any already made. So it was kind of thrown together as it was 8 PM before I finished, and after all this is just for me. I have made a small jar of the butter for others, if it turns out to be okay.

1/2 teaspoon fenugreek
1/2 cup ground dried New Mexico chiles
1/4 cup paprika
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
Preparation

Finely grind fenugreek seeds in an electric coffee/spice grinder. Stir together with remaining ingredients until combined well.

I will try this. I like to find hearty soups in my freezer. I've been eating the carrots for the last few days (I like them with just the oranges roasted with them) and am really pleased with them so will give this flavour a break for a bit. Thanks Marilyn.
