upload and store them somewhere else, then upload links to them. I've gone back and most of the photos I've posted are now broken links. Seriously sad over that.

If we had pic upload, I'd be posting all the time. I'm constantly taking pix of food I make from start to finish.

 
Your pics are saved and the solution is there

deb-in-MI was really amazing and spent a lot of time and effort trying to help get things developed but we got almost no response from any of the regulars. Unfortunately I cannot magically fix things without resources and I've run the Swap this old style completely at the behest of the original members.

The old pics issues was completely out of my control and an issue with photobucket not this site but I was able to secure all of the old photos from there and they are now here and available. Getting it all tied in together and coordinated on this site is definitely possible but will take a lot of manhours of effort and a major overhaul of the code. When I setup the migration of the old photos I did so in a way that re-linking them (to work) in the old Swap messages can be handled with some database scripts. So it is setup to work when we are ready to do so. that is to say the old pics that were linked from photobucket will again display in the old messages once these updates can get done.
