My Weekend Six

* I blew the entire food budget for the next two months on a Persian rug earlier this week. DH thinks I have gone crazy.

* Tried to make it up to DH by buying him a box of hideously expensive hand made chocolate truffles. It worked *LOL* smileys/bigsmile.gif

* I made Meryl's Curry Lentil soup for dinner on Saturday. It's good and best of all, it's CHEAP! smileys/wink.gif

* Made chocolate muffins for Valentines Day. DH loved them.

* Had dinner at the In-Laws tonight. MIL supported me on my priorities i.e. the rug. Love my MIL!

* DH gave me 70 roses for Valentines Day today, so I think he's gotten over the Persian rug. The funny thing is, that the roses totally matched the colors in the rug (sunset colors).
He's a keeper, my dear DH! smileys/smile.gif
