Well, my chili didn't turn out, the day I made it a small dog tunneled under my fence

and my dogs killed it, and next I got a phone call from a neighbor in Texoma, and the house next door to mine had been set on fire, and it had came within 10 feet of my propane tank. It was a total nightmare. How it scored with the judges I don't know. But I get to write the article for the event, and I will admit I may have made the worst chili in my life.

Well, for me, starting my day out with my dogs killing a little dog

would pretty much do it for me. That's awful Kendall. I would not be able to concentrate on anything else for the rest of the day. Hopefully, you did great, and I am sure you will hear about it if you did. If you didn't win, well, distraction is a cook's worst enemy.

What's going to happen with the dogs? I know they are just being dogs and defending their territory, how traumatic for everyone...
