What are people making for Easter Dinner?

In a moment of weakness I 'volunteered' to do Easter dinner. We tend to always have Ham. I don’t feel very creative about this one . . . what are others doing . . . perhaps I may get some inspiration from your ideas!

Grilling rack of lamb. I have not decided on the marinade yet.

It will either be the east west bbq chicken or the maple mustard chicken both from BA. I know they are chicken recipes but the marinades work great on lamb.

Whatever I make it must have the parsley potatoes side.

Perhaps with some cilantro or rosemary or even basil as well.

I'm with you, Ang- I'm making them for certain. I'm hooked. For an entree I will

probably grill a butterflied leg of lamb (mustard, wine, rosemary) and make steamed green bean "bundles" or pureed zucchini in their shells- one of my favorites.

Um, Ham, scalloped potatoes, asparagus, scrambled eggs (it's brunch), strawberries, rhubarb pie...

Sorry. It's family, and its comfort food all the way.

I guess I am obligated to

roast that ** duck that I still have in the freezer. That duck prompted me to post here for the first time in Feb, so i suppose that has some hidden meaning!?!

Pleeeeease

can I come? As much as I complain about always having ham, I always enjoy it and this is the only time we eat it!

It's been a while since I followed a recipe....

I heat up some milk with a couple cloves of pressed garlic, salt, pepper and nutmeg. (If using a Le Creuset-type baking pan it can be done right in the pan.) It should be strongly flavored. I fill the baking pan with sliced potatoes and the hot milk, adding more milk to come almost to the top, then drizzle the top with a little cream, and bake at 425* for an hour or so. Sometimes I layer in grated Swiss cheese--not too much--and sometimes not, depending on the rest of the menu.

That's it. I don't think there's a right or wrong way to do them.
