Good Braunschweiger...

on seeded rye, a big smear of Düsseldorf mustard, swiss, and slices of dill pickle is heaven on a plate as far as I'm concerned.

My favorite butcher offers their housemade Braunschweiger sausage regular and smoked --ecstasy--!

I love Braunschweiger sandwiches. I like mine with

Hellman's on one side, yellow mustard on the other, sliced onions and lettuce. Yum! I make my mother-in-law a Braunschweiger spread with cream cheese, a little mayo, onions and a little mustard. She is in heaven when I bring that to her.
